Here's how this unique identification system works:
SET-UP
Simply unscrew the two nickel-sized metal halves of the locket. Inside, protected from water by a tiny O-ring, is a 12" strip of specially treated paper. Write down your important personal and medical facts, fold the strip accordian-style and tuck into the locket. That's all there is to it.
Updating happens the same simple way, in a matter of minutes.
USE
Emergency personnel are trained to look for identification jewelry at pulse points like the wrist, so the SOS ID will be quickly and easily found. One side of the locket has the Caduseus medical emblem, the opposite side displays the internationally recognized "SOS" inside the Star of Life, with two arrows and the word "OPEN" indicating that the information is stored inside.
