These Theraband band loops have been engineered to provide the same resistance levels, system of progression, and preferred quality as other Therabands endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association. This is quality you can depend on.
These new Theraband resistance loops are ideal for rehabs and gyms, being easier to use and more esthetically pleasing than knotted bands. The loops also come individually packaged with safety instructions, so they are sanitary and perfect for sending home.
The 3" wide loops can be used for a variety of applications, particularly lower body exercises to increase strength and balance. In keeping with the authentic Theraband System of Progressive Resistance, loops are available in yellow/light, red/medium, green/heavy, and blue/extra heavy.
This package contains 10 light resistance YELLOW Theraband loops, each individually sealed in a polybag with safety instructions. Your choice of 3 lay-flat lengths of 8", 12" or 18".
Field Trials
In field trials of the new Theraband band loops, patients in rehab preferred the loops to traditional knotted bands - and reported less breakage. Lower extremity patients used band loops for resisted lateral walking, hip abduction, and ankle dorsiflexion. Upper extremity patients used the band loops for shoulder abduction and external rotation.
